1v1 mode
Pick a game, send the link, and whoever accepts is your opponent. One ranked run each, best score wins, and both runs still count for the leaderboards exactly as they always have.
How it works
One run each
Your first ranked run of the game after your side of the duel opens is your score: creation for the challenger, acceptance for the opponent. Focused practice runs do not count, because they never rank.
7 days
Both runs have to land within 7 days of the challenge being created. At the deadline, one run in is a walkover for the side that played, and none in makes it void.
Nothing else changes
A duel run is an ordinary ranked run. It goes on the game's leaderboard and feeds the overall board as usual; the duel page just reads it from there.
