About the role

About the role

Dymon Asia Capital is a multi-strategy hedge fund. As we add Portfolio Managers globally and trade a broader range of instruments across more jurisdictions, our internal pricing and risk system needs to support these new instruments seamlessly, particularly structured products.

Solutions Validation is a newly established team that tests fixes, features and enhancements before they are released to internal users. The team has a broad mandate: we check that the end-to-end workflow, from data ingestion, trade booking and lifecycle events through to pricing models and risk calculations, works as intended before it reaches the wider firm. We work closely with the Quant and Core Engineering teams to deliver reliable tools to Portfolio Managers and other key stakeholders.

What you will do - Analyse term sheets and document product variants. Help the team map out every combination of features for a product, so we can build the pricing models and booking templates to support them. - Validate test bookings . Check that test trades are booked correctly and match the economics in the term sheet. - Identify gaps in data ingestion and quality. Monitor how timely and accurate the data feeding our pricing and risk models is, and automate these checks and their fixes where possible. - Sanity-check PnL and risk. Make sure PnL and risk figures are reasonable and consistent with market movements.

What you will bring - Knowledge of the asset classes a multi-strategy fund trades, including equities, rates, FX, credit and macro products. Experience with structured products is a significant plus. - A solid understanding of PnL and risk calculations. - Proficiency in Python, and an instinct to automate recurring checks and build your own investigative tools. - Experience building with AI tools beyond basic prompting. Familiarity with AI agents and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) is advantageous. - Trading floor exposure, or experience with SQL, Numerix or Bloomberg, is also advantageous. - Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Master's in Quantitative Finance or a related field at an accredited university, with a strong academic record. - This is a six-month, full-time, in-office internship. We're open to discussing alternative arrangements.
