Wonderlic-Style Test
50 questions in 12 minutes, about fourteen seconds each. Verbal, numerical, logical and spatial mixed together and getting harder as you go. This is the shape of the Wonderlic cognitive ability test. The questions are our own, not the real paper, and the speed it demands is what carries over to the timed sections of SHL and Watson-Glaser.

Why almost nobody finishes
Fourteen seconds a question is not enough time to be careful, and the paper gets harder as it goes, so the last ten questions arrive when you have least time for them. An average score on this format is about 20 out of 50. The skill it trains is deciding fast enough to keep moving, and knowing when to skip rather than sink a minute into one question, which is the same call every timed assessment asks you to make.
Questions you have not seen before
The numerical, logical and spatial questions are generated fresh every time, so they never repeat. The verbal ones are written by hand, and each paper is drawn from the ones you have not met yet, so practising here is not practising the same fifty questions over and over.
