SIG Problem Solving Assessment
Built by Mettl
- Format
- Long form quantitative problems rather than a speed test. Continuous probability, expected value, combinatorics, Bayes, distributions, Markov chains, single variable calculus and logic. Pen, paper and a calculator are allowed.
- Timing
- Reported at 9 to 15 questions in 60 minutes, with the ability to move back and flag. A shorter Quantitative Evaluation variant is reported at 12 to 16 questions in 20 minutes. You get about a week to start once the link lands, and switching tabs can end the attempt.
- What is uncertain
- Which of the two you sit varies by role, region and year. Both counts are ranges in every source we found, not fixed. No negative marking is reported, but none is confirmed either.
- How to practise
- Practice Questions covers the brainteaser end. Nothing here reproduces a 60 minute paper you can work on paper.
