Morgan Stanley online assessment
Built by Aon
- Format
- Aon (cut-e) numerical and logical reasoning tests for spring weeks and summer analyst roles in EMEA, then a HireVue video interview. The numerical test is the six tab true, false or cannot say format; the logical test is reported as scales ix (inductive) for some divisions and the deductive switchChallenge for others.
- Timing
- Numerical reported at 37 statements in 12 minutes, logical at 12 items in 12 minutes or 20 in 5 depending on which Aon test the division sends. No marking scheme is published.
- What is uncertain
- Morgan Stanley publishes none of it. Which logical test you get, and whether there is one at all, varies by division and year in candidate reports.
- How to practise
- Data Statements is built on the numerical format. Inductive Reasoning covers scales ix and Switch covers the switchChallenge.
