Deutsche Bank and Jefferies online assessments
Built by SHL
- Format
- SHL ability tests (numerical, verbal and inductive or deductive reasoning) with a behavioural questionnaire, and at Deutsche Bank a situational judgement test that candidates report as the deciding stage for spring weeks.
- Timing
- SHL Verify numerical is reported at 10 questions in 18 minutes in its interactive form, inductive at up to 15 in 18 minutes, verbal at 30 in 19 minutes with true, false or cannot say answers. Neither firm publishes which tests a given programme gets or the marking.
- What is uncertain
- Both firms change the mix by programme and year, and Deutsche Bank's spring week is widely reported to lean on the situational judgement test rather than the ability tests. The verbal test is not reproduced here.
- How to practise
- Numerical Reasoning, Figure Series and Situational Strengths cover three of the four parts. Logical Statements is the nearest thing to the deductive items.
