PJT online assessment 2027

Provider: Suited
Same process reported at Evercore, Houlihan Lokey, Guggenheim

What they send: Logic, number series, checking, behavioural questionnaire.

Providers change between cycles and firms rarely publish their tests, so everything here is what candidates report and what the provider documents, in that order of trust. Treat it as where to start, not a promise.

What the test is like

PJT, Evercore and Houlihan Lokey assessment

Built by Suited

Format
The Suited assessment used by several elite boutiques for insight and summer programmes: timed logic (given two or three statements, is a further statement always, sometimes or never true), number series, a checking section (do two strings match), and a behavioural questionnaire.
Timing
Candidates report about 15 minutes for the timed sections, with an untimed example before each. Suited publishes no counts, no clock and no marking, and says the result is one data point alongside interviews.
What is uncertain
Which boutiques use Suited changes year to year; PJT, Evercore, Houlihan Lokey and Guggenheim are the ones candidates report most. Moelis is reported to use Test Partnership instead. None of it comes from the firms.
How to practise
Logical Statements is built on the logic section. Sequences covers the number series and Battery's Code Compare the checking section.

What students report this cycle

No debriefs about PJT's test yet this cycle. Students who track an application here can say what they sat afterwards; once a firm has three, the counts show here.
